Frequently asked questions.
What is the BDE course?
Beginner Driver Education (BDE) is Ontario's MTO-approved 40-hour program: 20 hours online, 10 hours in the car with an instructor, and 10 hours of home-link activities. When you finish, your certificate is added to your Ontario driving record.
Do I need my G1 before I start?
Yes. You need a valid Ontario G1 licence before in-car lessons begin. The online portion can be started as soon as you enrol.
Where do lessons take place?
We pick you up and drop you off at home, school or work anywhere in our service area across Toronto and the GTA, and lessons run on real roads near you.
How long do I have to finish?
Packages must be completed within 12 months of the purchase date, including the online course.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. No-shows and last-minute cancellations are subject to a $50 fee. Lessons are scheduled directly with your instructor.
How do I pay?
We accept credit cards, e-transfer and in-person payments. Full payment is due at enrolment and all package purchases are final.
Can I use your car for my road test?
Yes. It is included in the Popular and AYN packages, or available on its own for $150, or $190 as a bundle with a one-hour warm-up lesson and help booking your test date.
